Law and Lease is one year old today

One year has passed since I pressed “publish” on my first post.

The world of residential service charges has seen some high profile cases in the last 365 days, not least Phillips v Francis in the High Court; OM Property Management v Burr in the Court of Appeal, and Daejan in the Supreme Court.

We also have a new first instance Tribunal with wider powers; a new President of the Upper Tribunal and a new President of the Chancery Division.

On a more personal note, writing this blog for the past year has educated, entertained and enlightened me. It has been rewarding to know that my posts are well-received and that my band of subscribers is growing.

I therefore take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who has visited this blog, read my posts and engaged with me since 25 July 2012.

I am looking forward to my second year. I hope you will enjoy it with me.
